Final paper submission:
IEEE requires that the PDF files submitted for the accepted papers be 100% IEEE Xplore compliant. Please make sure that you follow the Instructions on how to produce IEEE Xplore compliant PDF files.
* If you are a LaTeX user, use the document class file in the zip file here which also contains a sample paper. You can create a IEEE Xplore compliant PDF file using the commands:
dvips -o mypaper.ps -G0 -tletter mypaper
ps2pdf mypaper.ps mypaper.pdf
* If you are a Microsoft Office user, you can download the MS Word template in a sample. A good way to convert a Word file to PDF is to use IEEE PDF eXpress (see instructions below). Please register, log in, and upload your Word file. The website will convert it to PDF file for you and send you an email shortly with the converted PDF file in attachment.
1. Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at http://216.228.1.34/pdfexpress/log.asp
2. Click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and fill in your information. You will need the Conference ID which is: sis08x
3. Once you have created an account, follow the instructions on how to generate an IEEE compliant PDF file.
NOTE: When converting files to PDF, some of the figures or equations might get distorted. Therefore, be sure to check the created PDF file very carefully before submitting it.
After you made sure that the file is correctly converted to PDF, you need to login to your account and re-upload the paper:

This PDF file will replace the original file that you had submitted for review.
IEEE Copyright Form Submission - Deadline: July 19
Each paper needs to be accompanied by a IEEE copyright form. Please follow the steps below:
1. Download the copyright form from the IEEE website:
http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/rights/copyrightmain.html
2. Fill out the full title of the paper as well as the full names of the authors.
3. The name of the publication is “2008 IEEE Swarm Intelligence Symposium”
4. Sign the appropriate section
Note 1: Copyright form is not valid without signature, and the paper cannot be uploaded onto the IEEExplore website.
Note 2: Electronic signature is also acceptable. You can also print your name in the space provided.
5. Email the copyright form back to sis08@computelligence.org
