Abstract - The present sample contains information on the preparation of papers for IEEE SIS'03 which will be held at Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, April 24-26, 2003. The sample is written in the style required. Please carefully follow the instructions provided to ensure legibility and uniformity of all papers. All papers must be submitted electronically in the PDF format using 8.5x11 in (US Letter) paper size. Submissions of papers are due on January 10, 2003. Please visit the conference web site at http://www.computelligence.org/sis/ for instructions on the electronic submissions instructions.I. GENERAL INFORMATIONPapers are submitted to IEEE SIS'03 are peer reviewed. The papers should have sufficient detail to clearly explain the authors' idea, method or formulation. Papers should include an abstract. The paper should be in double-column format and within the 8-page limit , including figures, tables and references. II. TECHNICAL INFORMATIONThe papers must be in PDF format for 8.5 in x 11 in paper. A. Desktop Publishing 1)Typefaces and Type Sizes: If possible, use a proportional, serif typeface such as Times, Times New Roman or Dutch Roman, and use the type sizes specified in Table I. 2)Double-Column Format: The papers should be prepared in double-column format on one side only. Set the top margin to 25 mm (1 in) and the left margin to 18 mm (0.7 in). Set the right margin to 18 mm (0.7 in) and the bottom margin to 19 mm (0.75 in). Space between the columns should be 5 mm (0.2 in). Use 3.5 mm (0.14 in) for paragraph indentation. 3) Title and Author Headings: Your first page should have the paper title, author(s) and affiliation(s) centered on the top of the page across both columns. B. Other Items Concerning items such as title,
headings, symbols, abbreviations, equations, figures and tables, strictly
follow the IEEE standards, as it is done in this
example.

When citing references in
the text, type the corresponding reference number at the end of the
sentence in brackets followed by the punctuation [1]-[3]. Avoid using
"Ref. [1]" or "reference [1]". At the beginning of a sentence, use
"Reference [1] ...." Examples for listing of journal and conference papers,
and a book, are given below in the list of references
